This is another song that i love, and again, it's because of the story of the song.
Basically, D.W Washburn is a bum/tramp who is picked by the salvation army to 'save'. The thing is, he's perfectly happy as he is, and he wishes they would go and help someone else, as he doesn't want their help.
I also love any song that has the line "i got a bottle of wine and i'm feeling fine" in it, as this song has. How can anyone not feel fine with wine?. I know i feel fine with a glass of wine.
Ok, back to this song. Yeah, i like this song as it always makes me smile, and i have this mental image of some guy being dragged kicking and screaming into this salvation army building, but that's just my insane imagination.
