Why isn't 'Project Runway' shown in the UK anymore?.

I loved 'Project Runway'. I wanted to be a fashion designer when i was growing up, and seeing a show where fashion designers create a specific outfit was really interesting to me.

It seemed to be on sky1 all the time, and then it just dissapeared. I know it's still airing in the states, but it doesn't seem to air over here any longer.

That's why i loved the 'Great british sewing bee', It reminded me of 'Project runway', in the way that you saw dresses and bags (amongst others) being made.

I just wish we had a chance to watch 'project runway' over here. As more and more people seem to be developing a love of crafting, i think it would be a nice inclusion to tv schedules.

I learn from They Might Be Giants songs.

I love this band. They are one of my favourites. I actually LEARN stuff from their song's.

Like, i had never heard of James Ensor, until i heard their song 'Meet James Ensor', and found out he was a painter. And James K Polk, was the 11th president of the USA, another fact i learned from TMBG.

And, i remember Istanbul was Constantanople because of that song. And i learnt about supertasters (they, apparently do exsist) because of another TMBG song.

I remember song lyrics better than more thing's, and if i can learn facts within song lyrics, then it's a bonus.

Should Man City's manager be sacked?.

I really need to stop blogging about football, but i'm watching the football at the minute, and i have opinion's about what i'm seeing, so sorry for the football talk.

I can't even attempt to spell the Man city's manager's  name, as i'll get it very wrong, but i was watching the F.A cup yesterday, and some reporter guy asked him about if his job was on the line. I mean, come on, really?. They're 2nd in the table, is that really that bad?. Ok, they don't have a cup, but they're not knocking on the door of relegation either.

And, with Man United being all change next season, it could take a season or two to get used to the new regime, so i say give him one more season in charge, and see what he does, and how he manages, and decide then.

So, It's the end of an era at Man United (another football post).

No matter what you think about Manchester United, i think you have to admire Sir Alex Ferguson for what he did for that club. And for his VERY long service to the club.

In these days, when loyalty of players and managers seem's to be non-exsistent, here is a man who has spent over 20 years at one football club, and yes, Man United haven't done that bad with him as manager, but i honestly think that he really does care about that club, and today, being his last home game in charge, it really is the end of an era in football.

Love or hate Man U (i'm on the fence, myself), i think it's right for today being all about Sir Alex's departure.

My boyfriend, a little post about him.

I never thought that i would get so lucky as to have an amazing boyfriend as the one i have.

It sounds cheesy, but he is my perfect man. He's funny and he takes care of me, and is fun to be around (and puts up with my moodiness) and he's very cute and sexy.  He also gives the best hugs, ever.

I've never been in love before i met him, and i am in love with him very much. It's easy with him, no mind games or drama's, it's just fun and he makes me very happy.

I am glad it never worked out with any of the other guys before him, as none of them could make me as happy as he makes me. He's very special and i wouldn't trade him for the world. He's mine. I'm very happy with him, and nobody else could ever take his place.

Monkees 'Goin' Down'.

I adore this song, it's one of my favourite ever song's. It was written by all four of the Monkees (and Diane Hilderbrand),with Mikey Dolenz singing lead vocal (brilliantly, as usual).

It's a jazzy, fast song (some have even refered to it as the first rap song) about a drunk guy, who has decided to commit suicide and then, after jumping into the water, changes his mind.

It was released with 'Daydream believer' (another one of my favourites from the band), and this is the song that made me fall in love with the voice of mr George Micheal Dolenz.

Even if you have no idea who the Monkees are, you need to hear this song, as it's one of the best song's i've ever heard.

I've been drawing this afternoon.

All i seemed to do at primary school was draw or make something (or doing some play), but it was cool, and i enjoyed it.

As i got older, i became very aware that my drawing skills are non-exsistant, and for a while, i stopped altogether. I feared that i would be ridiculed for my lack of skills.

Then, something important happened: I realized that i don't actually care if people think my drawings are crap or not. I got inspired from a monkees fan site, when one fan shared her art, and stated that she doesn't care if her drawings were shit or not, she enjoyed doing them, and thats all that mattered to her.

Well, same here. I enjoy drawing, and ok, i may not be the next Da Vinci, but i'm not gonna stop because i have limited talent. As my mum always says, practise makes perfect. You never know, one day i could be (but i doubt it). Still gonna draw, though.
