I know it's only the end of September, but i am really in the christmas mood.
I think it's because the shop's are starting to put out all the christmas stock (though i have no idea how anyone could buy sweets now for christmas, i would have them eaten by now lol), and some places even have the christmas tree's up, and it's getting me in the mood for christmas.
I admit, i have started my christmas shopping, and even have bought some gift bags, but i haven't put up the tree yet, or the decoration's (and i won't until the start of December) or played christmas music (i have heard 'Fairytale of new york' a couple of times already this year).
For me, though, Christmas isn't really here until i see the 'Coca-Cola' advert on t.v. It's the same for my mum, whenever we see that ad, it's like 'it's now officially christmas', and also when we hear Slade's 'Merry christmas everyone' it's also a sign it's officially christmas, and i think it could be a while before i see and hear them, but in the meantime, i will start counting down the day's to christmas anyway, and enjoy being in the christmas spirit a little bit early.

Madonna's best era?
I am a big Madonna fan . I think it's because ever since i was a little girl, i have heard her music being played everywhere. Anyway, the other day, a friend of mine said that she hasn't liked much of Madonna's music since 'Music' came out.
I liked the 'Music' album, i wouldn't go as far to say it was my favourite Madonna album ever, but it was played quite a bit. I loved a few song's on that album ('Runaway lover', 'Gone', 'Nobody's perfect' ). I haven't liked much of her stuff since 'Music', with the exception of 'Hung up', 'Four minutes' and 'sorry'.
I think i would have to say that my favourite era of Madonna is probably mid/late 80's/ early 90's (anything from 'Like a virgin' through to 'Bedtime stories' albums). My favourite song's of her are from this period, and i also liked her in 'A league of their own' film (big Tom Hanks fan, that's why i watched it). I also love 'This used to be my playground' from the film, too.
My favourite Madonna song ever? hard choice. It would have to be either 'Into the groove', 'Like a prayer' or 'Take a bow'. But 'Express yourself' could also go on the list of favourites, too.

A little intruduction to me
Hi. My name is Dawn (as you may have guessed by the title lol) and I thought that I would tell you a little bit about me.
I am 30 years old (really!) and i live in the north east of england. I love chocolate, and milkshakes and ice cream. I also love Jackie Collins books and reading fan fiction (i also write fan fiction stories, mostly fluff, 'shipping' my favourite couples from my favourite shows).
I like listening to music (I have a unique taste in music, everything from Nirvana to Bobby Darin) and watching t.v (my favourite shows include Monk, Numb3rs and Burn Notice) and writing stories (mostly very, very short ones). I am also a shopaholic who collects bears and soft toys, and i also collect Hello Kitty stuff and 'Cute things' (notebooks with animals on the cover, keyrings with cute charms on etc). I also love taking photo's, i take loads of photo's on my camera of places i go. I also love crafting, and spend a lot of time card making, knitting and doing little craft projects. I also love animal's and wildlife.

My new blog
I have done it. I have created a new blog. This one i will stick with, regardless if i get 1 follower or a million.
I want to write a blog so that i can express what i am feeling, and my opinion's and thought's, sometimes i can't always do that in "real life", so having this blog is a way i can get what ever i am feeling off my chest, without becoming an emotional wreck lol.
I have also recieved a lot of good advice over the last few month's (since i was diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorder) and i really wanna share some of that advice, as it can relate to every one, regardless of whether you are depressed or not.
I also am writing this blog as a motivation tool. So that i have something to do when i feel that i have nothing (does that make sense?). When ever i feel that i am starting to sit there and dwell on what i haven't got ( I have a lot to be thankful for, which i forget sometimes), the idea is that i just think 'hold on, i have something to do, i will spend some time doing my blog'.
And, above all, i wanna write this blog because i love writing. I love writing short stories and poems, so i may share some of them. Some of my short stories are very very short, so it won't take too much time reading them.
I hope this blog is upbeat and positive (that's what i want it to be) and i hope, if anyone is reading this, that you like it, and i also hope i haven't bored you. And, thank you for reading.
