Should job interview clothing include some personality?.

I do the standard 'Trouser's, jacket and white top/blouse' for my interview outfit, but i have been reading more and more about including some 'personality' into your outfit.

I wonder if that is a good idea, i mean we are somewhat 'programmed' what to wear for job interviews, you know the usual 'look smart, clean and look like everyone else', but i'm starting to think it IS a good idea to add some individuality to your clothing.

I mean, we are all different, and i feel at times, we lose ourselves in interviews, you know saying what they want to hear, instead of what we want to say, and i think that saying "this is me" in some way is a good idea.

I know the next interview i go to, i am gonna add a bit of 'me' to my outfit, and see how it goes.

I never got to meet my Grandad.

My grandad, Joseph Robert (or Roy, as he was known to his family and friend's) died about 4 years before i was born, so i never got to meet him.

I know all about him, as my mum and Grandma, when she was alive, talked about him all the time.

I know that he survived meningitis, i know he had several heart attacks, that eventually killed him.I know he once had a fight with a ciggarette machine, which ended with machine falling off the wall.

Just because i didn't get to meet him doesn't mean that i didn't get to know him, because i did.

In a way, i feel that he touched my life in some part, even though he wasn't physically here. I know he was a survivor, who adored his only daughter, and his wife, and i know that if he were alive then he would have been majorly proud of me too.

Favourite stand-up comedian?.

I wish i could say that my favourite comedian was cool and 'out-there', but i can't.

My favourite conedian is Tim Vine. I like silly thing's, and he says and does really silly thing's, so i find him really funny.

I also like Michael McIntyre and Peter Kay too.

I do like Eddie Izzard and Rhod Gilbert, so they would go down as my "Cool" choices.

I also watch a fair bit of stuff John Bishop does, just random tv show's, when i'm channel hopping, and he's good too.

I also like Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller, too. Seen their show a few times, and enjoyed it.

I also find Lee Mack quite funny, but i don't seem to find Miranda Hart funny at all, even though people rave about her. I think it's just my sense of humour.

I have to start watching 'Not going out' more reguarly, i watch it now and again, but it's on my list to get on dvd at some point.

Prince of nothing charming. Tyler Hilton. Correction.

Tyler Hilton did write this song, apparently inspired by his girlfriend, so i was wrong.

I got it confused with a song with a similar name that was out in the 80's.

Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know that i was mistaken, and Tyler (and a friend) wrote this amazing song.

'We love the monkees'. ITV. Last night.

I watched this documentary last night, and i have to say that i was a little dissapointed.

I dunno if it was meant to be a tribute to Davy Jones (it fitst aired last year), as a lot of the show seemed to focus on him. There was no Mike, and the producers seemed to miss out a big chunk of the band's history.

Also, they talked to some fan's, who liked either Davy, Mike or Peter (it turned out 2 of them were best friends). Where was the Micky fan girl?.

I did like the story about Micky doing a improv concert for a bunch of schoolgirls in a park, and them singing back to him. It seemed a really cool experience. Wish i could have been there. I don't think the woman telling that story was a Micky fan girl. He had fan's, still does, and he seems so sweet and funny, and amazing. And has one of the best voices in pop history ever. They could have least talked to one Micky fan.

I hope, if they do another documentary on the band, they choose to tell the entire story, not just one bit of it.

Guilty pleasure number five. Mutant X.

I know it wasn't the best sci-fi show ever made, but i really enjoyed Mutant x.

Sky 1 used to have it on when i came home after work, and it was perfect chill out tv. After spending the day on the checkout, making conversation with customers (most of them wanting to know what had happened to the shop that was previously there), and trying not to ger stressed when management wouldn't answer the 'help needed' call, mutant x was the perfect way to de-stress. It was great entertainment.

I haven't watched the show for ages, and recently i have wondered if i should get some dvds (HMV have some in the swap shop) and re-watch some of them.

No, it wasn't the best show ever, but i enjoyed it.

CSI: Morgan's love life is confusing me.

I think she's meant to like Greg. And maybes, Greg likes her. Not sure about the 'who likes who' situation of that pairing.

But, isn't Hodges into her as well?. Or is she into him?. The way she talked about him to the girl who was kidnapped the other week (i am UK channel 5 pace, by the way), she called him her best friend, and the way she said it made me think she may have wanted more. And they did kiss when her dad was in hospital, so i'm a bit confused over who Morgan likes.

Every episode seems to have her going in the direction of liking one or the other, and i can't keep up with it.

Also, didn't she like Nick?. I know he was dating someone, but i'm sure he told someone he wasn't serious about the girl he was dating, which i thought meant that maybes Morgan had a chance with him.

I don't know. I, personally like her and Hodges together, but i love Greg, so Morgan with either would make me happy. Just pick someone for her. Please.
