Is this actually a chick flick? I'm not sure, but i really like this film.
It's set in 1985, and it's about a student who makes the uni's 'university challenge' quiz team, and how he falls in love with a team member, not realizing that the right girl for him is actually his friend.
It's actually a lot better than i've made it sound there. The scene where the main character has an akward encounter with team mate (and love interest) Alice's parents (who are in the nude) in the kitchen in the middle of the night is really funny.
It was my mum that told me about this film, and i loved it. And 90 minutes is just right time, as it doesn't feel too rushed or too dragged out either.
