I guess this post is aimed towards the people who used to watch 'Heartbeat'. I live with a big fan of the show (my mum) so have been forced to watch countless episodes.
So, who was the best leading man?. I think Steve was my favourite. He didn't have many storylines, but at least he didn't get married off to some doctor (every main character seem's to end up with a doctor or nurse). It was sad when he left (it's very sad, but won't spoil it for you).
I liked Joe as well, but maybe that's just because i liked the actor (i remember watching him in 'take the high road') when i was a kid.
Please don't hate me for saying this, but in my opinion, Mike and Rob were a tiny bit wooden for me to really care about. Sure, they were 'alpha males'. But boring.
I liked Nick, too. It's really sad when Kate left and he was left to raise baby Katie.
I also liked Phil. Thought he was far more likeable than some of the 'leading men' they had in the show.
