I usually write short stories, but i have decided to challenge myself and write a novel.
I have a few idea's. I'm in the middle of writing down my idea's, planning what happen's when in the story. I will see what look's best when i finish writing the 'plan' and go with what look's best.
May even decide to go with two of the idea's, and then if i get stuck with the story, or one doesn't go to plan, i can work on the other.
One idea is about an ex-con, who find's out her old life isn't quite as over as she thinks, when she's confronted by her past.
Another idea is about a detective who find's out that the man who was convicted for killing his wife is actually innocent, and how that affects his 'moving on'.
And another idea is about a woman who goes back home for the funeral of her step-father (who she had an affair with) and learn's some secrets and confronts her past.
Still work's in progress. But who knows? they could be my best selling novel.
