I like this feel-good rom-com, about the romance between greek-american Toula and non-greek Ian, as it's a sweet story about how they fall in love and Ian tries to win over Toula's family.
There's no silly 'misunderstandings' stopping the pair being together. There's no cliche chases to the airport claiming undying love for each other. It's just a sweet (and actually very tame) story about two people falling in love (as i've already mentioned).
It's a good Sunday afternoon movie, or cold winter night kinda movie, as it really cheers me up after i've watched it. It just makes me feel happy. That's why i like it so much.
