'From afar' chapter six.

After breakfast, Jay went home to change, and met Vonda at the precenct.
She had made a start working through the files.
She sat in the interview room again, making notes as she read her way through witness statement's and forensic reports.
How did the killer get close to the victim?. Why did the victim's let the killer into their houses?. No force had been used.
And then there was the assualt. Just feeling up the victim didn't justify the drugging of the victim.
And then, it hit her. The victim's had to be "Made up" first, and not killed first, as Jay had suspected.
So, the killer was obsessed with glamour. He was skilled in applying make up and costumes, and had no sexual interest in the victims.
Vonda scribbled down notes, and then she noticed something that could have turned the case on it's head.
